Why this exists
Senior lawyers often combine substantial earning power with limited time and career-specific complexity. Yet much of the information available is either generic consumer content or marketing produced by the firm ultimately selling the advice.
Lawyers’ Money is being built as an education-first layer between those two worlds: specific enough to be useful, careful enough to remain within its role and transparent about how adviser introductions are funded.
Founder and editor
Lawyers’ Money was created by Steven Calvert, founder of Compliant Paraplanning Services Ltd, following approximately 15 years working in UK financial services.
Steven holds the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning together with AF5, CF6 and R07 qualifications. Those credentials support the editorial process; they do not turn the information on this site into personal financial advice.
How expertise is demonstrated
Every substantive briefing names its author, carries a review date and links to primary or public-service sources. Where a specialist tax, legal or adviser reviewer contributes, that person and their role will be disclosed on the relevant page. We do not imply a review that has not happened.
Editorial and commercial separation
Educational content is written to answer the reader’s question before any adviser introduction. Potential commercial fees do not change the conclusions of a briefing or determine which topics are covered. Read the full editorial and corrections process in our editorial standards.
